  • Sr. Police Administrative Support Specialists perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in support of law enforcement and investigative activities within Police Bureau divisions and units. A variety of tasks such as processing reports, providing administrative support and responding to inquiries from the public, officers and others are performed following division, bureau and legal policies and procedures. Sr. Police Administrative Support Specialists are expected to carry out their individual responsibilities with initiative, independence and creativity while exercising sound professional judgment and problem-solving skills.

  • I was a temporary letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. I cased mail on a route in the morning and then loaded it into a mail truck. I drove to my assigned destination where I then delivered the mail to businesses and residences. I was required to carry up to 60 pounds per loop. It was a physically demanding job that required me to be mentally alert to mistakes in the mail and make the needed corrections as I traveled to the next address.
