I recieved my Peer Support Specialist Certification on March 17th 2024.

Being a SAP Mentor in the Setting that i was in was a 24 Hour 365 day a year JOB. I worked for the Program Administrator and the Social Workers over the SAP Program for the Department Of Corrections. I ran the Programs Intake, Accountablity Process, and the Moral Support of 48 women enrolled in the program at all times.I did everything from Conflict Resolution to the Learning and Teaching of Alcololics Anonymous and 12 Step Programming. More than anything, my job as a Mentor was to show Love, Understanding, Empathy, and Support of the girls and their struggles they faced in going threw the SAP Program. Being a Recovering Addict myself I know the need for a person that has been in their shoes and is there to help them and give them the Hope they need to become a Recovering Addict..
