In my free time, I sing, bake, coach, or volunteer! I have been surrounded with music for a majority of my life ever since first joining choir as a kid, and I continue to love music and take vocal lessons (I am currently in the process of teaching myself guitar)! I first picked up baking after suffering a severe concussion my freshman year of high school as a hobby to make up for being out of volleyball, and I have stuck with it since! I bake weekly for others (like my volleyball team, my classmates) and specifically love baking bread and the joy that it brings others. I am a volunteer assistant coach for a travel volleyball team and have extensive coaching experience for younger girls! I love to coach because of the impact I am able to make and the passion that kids can develop for what might become their favorite sport. I regularly volunteer, specifically with my school community, and love to help out at events. One of my personal favorite volunteering experiences is a yearly food drive my school does with a group called Catholic Athletes for Christ, and every year we receive 100% participation from our student body and fill up an entire UHaul truck with food. We then drop off the food to a Sister Judies Food Drive, help stock it onto shelves, and get to see where their meals will be made and the people that we help with what we do.
