- I am an undergraduate of geology at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon. My intentions are to transfer to Portland State University, where I will complete my Bachelor of Science in Geology. From there, I intend to pursue further education and a career in paleontology, evolutionary biology, and museum studies. My schooling in the sciences has promoted teamwork in lab settings as well as in the field, ranging from genetically modifying microorganisms in the lab to doing alluvial measurements in Beaver Creek to aid ongoing ecological studies in my local area.
- I have maintained day-to-day duties accurately and productively, maintaining full-time class schedules while enrolled in a variety of STEM-based courses. This management of multiple heavy responsibilities has allowed me to pursue my dream steadfastly.
- Alongside my studies, I have customer service experience from my ongoing volunteer moderation for an online video game and technology company, where I manage and respond to members of the online community for said company. This online community boasts a membership of nearly 113,000 members and requires skills in moderation, communication, and efficient management.
