Summary
I am a fast learner with an interest in the intersection of structural engineering with sustainable energy futures. Being eco-conscious during the COVID-19 Pandemic was a challenge in every industry. To combat this issue, we introduced free reusable cutlery, straws, and bags at Rice colleges and were able to significantly reduce the amount of waste produced by students. This is analogous to what I hope to work on, the use of sustainable materials in building design.
