EMS Fleet Manager

Special Events Coordinator

  • Performs operational planning, staffing and logistics of all major/ minor events in City of Pittsburgh.

  • Disciplines Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS personnel if complaint is sufficiently substantiated.

EMS Liaison for Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security

  • Works with Pittsburgh Police, Fire, Public Works, Parks, and Public Safety to plan large scale events.
  • Provides EMS Operations plans for large scale events.
  • Gives pertinent advice for potential medical emergencies that may arise.

Fusion Liaison Officer

  • Attends semi annual meetings to facilitate dissemination of pertinent, sometimes confidential information to Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS.

Buildings and Maintenance

  • Facilitates repairs to Pittsburgh EMS buildings.
  • Evaluates hazardous working conditions by investigating causes, effects and proposing solutions.

Head of Buildings and Facilities Maintenance

  • Field calls from all medic stations, training and EMS headquarters for repairs and station issues, then facilitates repair of those properties through city's Facilities Maintenance Department.

Stretcher/Stair chair repair

  • Maintains records of repair and /or replacement of these vital pieces of equipment. Facilitates repair through EMS contractor EMSAR, also researches whether equipment is a liability and any further action following that result.

  • In charge of yearly updating of EMS Hazard files, responsible for maintaining input of any changes to files through CAD system.
