Summary

I will be a senior at Texas State University this coming fall 2025 with a major and coaching minor, predicted graduation is May 2026. I am currently work at Buckle in the premium outlets as a sales associate where I work both cashier and the sales floor. I have gained knowledge of how to deal with different situations and having the best customer service to provide the best experience for guests. While working in the fast pace retail space I have found a love for the constant movement and gaining new knowledge to better myself. Having experience working as a contractor for SAISD dance through the Tobin Center in San Antonio I have used and attained many skills like time management, communication, team work, positive attitude and being responsible for tasked asked of me and much more. I am a hard worker with a driven attitude and am open to learning new skills for any role I may be taking on. I will always bring a positive and charismatic attitude to guest and the work environment. I am looking to start my dance career not only in the studio either teaching or assisting but also behind the desk learning the business aspects.

While working at Buckle I have learned how to make connections with guests and give the best possible experience. We are a premium retail store and aim to make it the best shopping experience. As a teammate I work on the sales floor and behind the cash register. While working here I have learned how to work even more as a team to make the dream work. I am also work really well on projects or task given to we within a given time whether it be working in new product or working on my social shop and sales floor app to keep connected with guest.

I work both cashier and the sales floor, this entails me to be able to work both dependently and independent depending on the task. I can work more independently when given the task to do mark downs for clearance or making sure the floor looks ready for customers or when working dependently would be when i work with my team to do inventory and cashiering at the front as we have to work as a team to make sure the line does not get backed up. During both of these i have great customer service with customers and great communication with our team as our store is a little bigger and we want to make sure products are in the correct location and are tidy.

While working as a contracted service provider fro Tobin Center I was able to teach competition choreography to Schools within SAISD. I also did some technique classes and worked on cleaning the dance routines before going to competition. This was a great learning experience to how to put lesson plans together and doing invoices. This in a way sparked my interest in learning the business aspect of dance.
