Participated in process improvements with MHCC to migrate billing processes to a TPA. Served as a provider liaison between MHCC and other state trauma centers.
  • Director of Professional Fees: As Director of Professional Services, I continued to work with MHCC as the primary trauma center for all process improvements. Point person for all state trauma fund audits for the University of Maryland campus. Reviewed audit results and appealed any errors found during the yearly audit process. I was a member of the campus Directors Committee that was responsible for standardizing billing processes across twelve billing groups on campus. I was nominated for the University of Maryland, School of Medicine’s Director’s award for my work in trauma. Worked as a revenue cycle consultant for the Department of Surgery, Family Medicine, and Radiology.
