• Investigated historical and policy-driven factors leading to the disproportionate discipline of marginalized students, including zero-tolerance policies, racial profiling, and the criminalization of minor behavioral infractions in schools.

• Conducted a comprehensive review of state and federal laws surrounding criminal record expungement and vacate, identifying key fiscal barriers such as unpaid fines, restitution, and court fees that prevent individuals from accessing these legal remedies.
