I operated and assigned vehicles over varied terrain in support of combat and training operations. I also managed loading and unloading of heavy equipment, protect cargo against any damage, experience within land navigation techniques, qualification with radios and vehicle-mounted weapons, and performed vehicle self-recovery. Not only that, but I also prepared vehicles for shipment by air, rail, or vessel. My specialties include the full support and transportation of personnel, food, water, and ammunition.
I performed duties as a Squad Leader in 1-1 CAV located at Fort Bliss, TX. I also provided technical and tactical guidance to a higher authority known as Staff Sergeant. Under my supervision I ensured eight soldiers were trained, physically fit, financially prepared, and emotionally stable.
I planned, organized, and performed assistant convoy missions for mounted combat patrols and convoy operations. In addition, I dispatched vehicles, verified log books, developed manifest, rehearsed battle drills, briefed operations order, performed self aid and taught these skills to the platoon. I was signed for over $500,000 of CBRN military equipment, monthly checked and stored away for inventories.
