PROFILE SUMMARY My name is Amira Elsayed, graduated as a civil Engineer, Ain Shams University, Egypt, 2001. I worked as a civil Engineer from 2001 to 2005 in the Construction research Institute, Egypt. In 2005, I moved to KSA and lived there for 14 years. I have shifted career to teaching and have got 5+ years of experience at several institutions over there (International Schools and a Private College). I taught different subjects including, but not limited to, Mathematics, Computer, Arabic Language (for non Arabic speakers), Islamic studies and Quran. During my service period, I was able to deal with a diverse body of students from different cultures and nationalities. I have good experience in classroom management, assessment, and teaching strategies. My teaching style is student-centered and outcomes-based aiming to achieve the courses curriculum educational objectives. I have also gained substantial experience in online education through home schooling my kids for the academic school year 2018-2019 to prepare them for the transition from Saudi Arabia to The United States. I monitored them during this year while studying Virginia's curriculum. In 2019, I have moved to Virginia, USA and started to work as an online Tutor in 2020. In the same year, I joined Compton Children Academy as an assistant teacher for 5 months then moved to work at FCPS as a class monitor at the time of the pandemic. In August 2021 I started working at the same County as a substitute teacher till March 2022. In April 2022, I moved to Arizona and continued to work as an online tutor till today.
