
Class A CDL driver with extensive oilfield transportation and fuel-hauling experience operating tractor-trailer fuel transports, multi-compartment straight trucks, Super 10 dump trucks, Ready-Mix trucks, and step-deck equipment. Experienced in petroleum delivery, fuel transfers and extractions, tank capacity calculations, loading and unloading, equipment inspections, and safe operation in demanding environments. • Operate a four-axle Super 10 dump truck transporting dirt, rock, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials throughout Southern California.
• Complete multiple loads per shift while maintaining safe, efficient operation on highways, city streets, construction sites, quarries, and dump locations.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring tires, brakes, lights, fluids, suspension, and safety equipment.
• Safely position and operate the truck for loading and dumping while maintaining awareness of overhead hazards, uneven terrain, equipment, and ground personnel.
• Communicate with dispatchers, foremen, loaders, and job-site personnel to coordinate pickups, deliveries, material requirements, and dump locations.
• Maintain load tickets and delivery documentation while verifying materials and destinations before leaving each facility.
• Navigate tight job sites, heavy traffic, steep grades, and changing road conditions while protecting company equipment and maintaining safe following distances.
• Follow DOT regulations, company policies, weight restrictions, and job-site safety procedures while maintaining a dependable work schedule.
