I am a self driven nurse, willing to learn and assist others as needed. I have one year of experience working in an extended care facility that provided long term care and short term rehab. I have seven years of experience in the field performing home health care visits as a RN case manager, which included admitting new clients, wound care, medication set up and management, education, various medical conditions, delegating to LPNs and supervising the LPNs and aides. I have two years of experience in the office of the home health agency as the Quality Assurance Manager/Assistant Director. My duties as the QA manager included overseeing all nurses documentation, educating nurses on the computer system the company uses (oasis). I monitor all visits to ensure that all physician orders and company policies are being followed. I perform quarterly chart audits and give a report on the results of these audits and I assist the Director of Nursing and the CEO as needed.
