Accomplishments

  • Training - Trained team of staff nurses and surgical technologists in new equipment, supplies and procedures related to neurosurgery to ensure consistent quality of care. Instrumental in creating an internship program in 2004 where I helped create a curriculum and taught classes to new hire nurses who did not have a background in surgery
  • Implementation - Assisted in implementation of new tissue tracking system that resulted a 90% improvement in tracking human and bovine tissue. Computer documentation super user teaching newly hired nurses how to use the system to the fullest of it's potential.
