Excell in Nonprofit work, Strong volunteering background, Experience portrait photographer

I volunteer enough to maintain a Volunteer Resume; everything from working with United Way of Dane County to various leadership roles. Helping nonprofits excel at their goals is one of my favorite attributes. Prior to the work listed on the resume I was a portrait photographer photographing newborns to large families.

I facilitate classes and meetings in the Getting Ahead Program through St Vincent du Paul.  I thoroughly prepare the information to be shared and frequently check for understanding throughout each meeting and presentation to confirm the information is understood and answer any outstanding questions.  Preparation prior to facilitation includes preparing visual presentation, securing mentors and guest presenters/speakers, and making sure there is enough materials for all participants.  Some additional responsibilities include securing a meal for the night's group, coordinating with additional nonprofits, and interviewing future candidates and mentors.

My Volunteer Resume will be provided upon request.
