Clinical Experience Needed

I am seeking a preceptor in the Intensive Care Unit to complete my clinical rotation. My goals is to gain advanced critical care experience, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, titration of vasoactive medications, and comprehensive care of acutely ill patients. I am highly motivated to strengthen mu clinical judgement, critical thinking, and leadership skills in a fast-paced ICU environment, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn from an experienced ICU nurse preceptor and contribute to providing safe, evidence-based care to complex patient populations.

Background

I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse for the past year, gaining valuable experience in direct patient care while building a strong clinical foundation. My nursing education at ECPI University emphasized evidence-based practice, patient safety, and high-quality care in diverse healthcare settings. Through my academic training and hands-on clinical rotations, I have developed skills in assessment, medication administration, care planning and patient education. I am eager to apply this foundation as I advance into a more complex patient care situations in the ICU and continue growing into a confident and competent Registered Nurse.
