Process record requests from patients and other healthcare facilities for continuity of care. Answer phone calls and assist in retrieving medical records. Route third party calls to MRO for status updates and release requests for insurance, legal and workman's comp claims. Greet patients coming in to request records or drop off a request. Research multiple legacy systems for older records that have been requested. Pull itemized billing records for patients or send a no records statement for records not found in the system.
