Manage four fellowship programs, which requires skills in organization, project management and people management.
Responsible for accreditation, compliance, educational activities, recruiting, onboarding and offboarding fellows, ensuring they meet all program requirements and supporting their professional development.
This role is highly collaborative, involving coordination with faculty, mentors and external stakeholders, so it demands strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to keep the program running successfully.
I lead the program's operations, am the point person for fellows and serve as a program solver to ensure positive experience for everyone involved.
I oversee timelines, budgets and maintain the program's goals and outcomes.
I ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain thorough documentation of individual trainee and program files. Overseeing and managing compliance pertaining to HIPAA, Boards, ACGME, duty hour requirements, including moonlighting, GME policies and subspecialty organizations.
Negotiates and facilitates program letters of agreements, coordinating the participation of visiting outside rotators.
Prepares for and assists with site visits as well as GME internal reviews and other activities associated with program accreditation.
Sensitive to fellow's religious beliefs, holiday and diet restrictions; celebrating birthdays monthly.
Maintains active membership in applicable national organizations and attends national meetings.
Provides guidance and training to other staff and oversees work of lower-level staff.
Cardiology Department Notary; notarize all physician's and nurses Medicaid yearly renewal forms and other professional forms.
