I home-educated my eleven children until the time of my divorce. I went back to school to finish my teaching degree. I worked as a classroom aid substitute while earning my degree. My first position was at Mohican Young Star Academy, a school where delinquents are housed on site. Upon being riffed, I went to a Christian school to work as a special education teacher for the third grade reading guarantee. My next and current position, which began in August of 2022, is a special education teacher with North Point ESC in Sandusky. I am currently earning a Masters of Arts in reading with an emphasis in elementary education with a December 2024 graduation date.
