- Created and implemented community wide literacy event, "Books on Parade". Event has been held annually since 2019 and included costume design, marching practice and numerous volunteer hours. LRSD Central Office has been a part of this event since its beginning, as well as Relyance Bank, which helped sponsor this event and purchased books for every single student at Western Hills.
- Collaborated with teachers and therapists to develop individualized educational plans for each student, ensuring optimal progress.
- Created entire "Dojo Store" for students. This store was used in connection with PBIS and allowed students to shop every other week using Dojo Points for prizes.
- Implemented PBIS behavior incentives year round and organized all events associated with each incentive.
- Developed a fishing program in partnership with Arkansas Game and Fish. 2023 will be the 3rd annual fishing trip. I take all students from my school, broken into two days, fishing at a local pond. I use curriculum provided by AGFC for my lessons before each fishing event.
- Supported students in developing social skills through structured activities and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Organized annual field days and sports tournaments, promoting physical activity and healthy competition among students.
- Implemented differentiated instruction techniques, ensuring all students were challenged according to their abilities and needs.
- Increased student participation by incorporating engaging activities and group projects into daily lesson plans.
- Partnered with local community organizations to provide additional resources and opportunities for student engagement in physical activities outside of the school setting.
