Charismatic music educator with over 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Currently teaching at North Layton Junior High, where choir enrollment increased by 25% over the past 3 years by utilizing engaging instruction and by fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment. Skilled in choral conducting, music theory, and fostering strong relationships with students, all of which contribute to creating inspiring learning experiences that promote both musical and personal growth.

As a music educator, I aim to create an inclusive, inspiring environment where every student feels valued and empowered to explore their unique voice. I focus on building confidence, creativity, and collaboration through choral music, helping students develop both musical skills and life skills like teamwork, discipline, and self-expression. I tailor my teaching to meet students at their level, fostering personal growth and encouraging excellence through rehearsal, performance, and critical listening. Ultimately, my goal is to instill a lifelong love of music and help students discover their voices—both in music and in life.
