Solution uses SoftNAS for high-performance storage backed by AWS EBS volumes with HA/DR functionality. Also assisted with deploying solution to Azure. Credited with improving overall application performance by 40% via Azure accelerated networking, virtual network redesign, and faster authentication times using OKTA universal directory.
  • Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Cloud BioInformatics: Collaborated with customer to design a solution that ingests data generated by genomic sequencers and scientific microscopes into SoftNAS virtual NAS appliances in AWS. Data processing leverages on-demand HPC clusters and replicates formatted data to various AWS regions to be accessed by scientists globally. Ability to provision on-demand HPC storage and processing reduces reliance on capital on-prem equipment and provides an estimated 60% savings annually.

  • Public domain name change for a leading Northwest bank. Coordinate logistics with multiple core software vendors, Public DNS registrars, Public CA’s, and trusted partners to facilitate smooth cutover. Modify existing hybrid Office365/On-premises Exchange 2013 configuration and Lync 2013 configuration for new domain. Successful cutover occurred within a 12-hour window with no impact to business productivity.
