Participates in perinatal health activities at the regional, state, and national level to identify opportunities for strengthening the program and improving perinatal care services and to create partnerships with perinatal providers and stakeholders to initiate statewide activities to strengthen perinatal care

Supervises Perinatal Program employees in a manner that allows guidance,training,observation of employee performance, and accurate appraisals and conducts meetings with regional perinatal staff to provide direction for regional perinatal and maternal mortality activities.
