In my Study Abroad Program our goal was to learn how culture effected the psychological way of thinking of medicine and health. One way we did this was through volunteer work at different clinics where we assisted patients in any way possible or to just give them some company. With this we were able to get exposed on cultural effects giving us a better understanding on their view on health. In addition, on our trip we were able to interview residents and see their views on health in their culture.
