I have taken the long path to get to my ultimate goal of being in IT Leadership. By working through all aspects of the IT positions available to me I have a deep understand and empathy for users of all skill levels. I have been grateful to have been on teams to lead toward strategic accomplishments. Such as working alongside HR team to build out our HRIS program, assist our Sheriff and local law enforcement get Body cams, keep systems up to date and upgraded as needed without slipping in budget or security risks.

I have also been able to serve as our county's Local agency security officer and have been creating and building out our cybersecurity program. This large program has not existed and this has been a great challenge that shows me I still love to learn and never stop. I am allowed the opportunity to engage with the State of MN IT, BCA, FBI, and other strategic partners.

All of the soft skills I have, the communication and networks I have available (MNCCC, MNCITLA, AMC, CISA, MS-ISAC, MN.IT) have all made me a stronger employee and leader.

Being a Project manager or IT consultant with my robust background in leading IT operations and driving technological advancements is a goal of mine. Successfully managing large-scale IT projects, enhancing system and operational efficiency and security are my strengths. Having expertise in strategic planning and team leadership drive this.
