  • Supervise 18 campuses consisting of 13 elementary, 3 Middle, and 2 High Schools with an overall enrollment of 10,781.
  • 2018-2019 Successfully implemented feeder alignment program to increase collegiality, community, and student retention
  • 2019-2020 enrollment growth of 235 students in feeder schools, Lubbock ISD, is a declining enrollment district
  • 2022-2023, all 19 campuses grew in the TEA accountability system, with 14 of 19 rated A or B.
  • Worked with three campuses through the Systems of Great Schools Network to create, implement, and oversee School Improvement Grants.

Accomplishments

Instructional Management and Academic Achievement

  • Improved the overall academic achievement of all 18 campuses, with 14 receiving an A or B rating in 2022.
  • The Monterey High School rating increased from C to B, and CCMR scores increased.
  • Supervised the Estacado Early College High School model, increasing student enrollment in the program
  • Worked through four campus redesign models through the Systems of Great Schools Network, one being a dual language model utilizing Gomez and Gomez curriculum and training.
  • Created campus principal PLCs and instructional focus walks throughout the feeder schools.
  • Developed a new principal training model implemented summer of 2023
  • Created a new assistant principal training model
  • Created the Academic Dean position at Monterey High School and expanded it to all secondary campuses in the district.
  • Designed a principal data tracking and coaching meeting model


Facilities and Safety

  • Worked with the district bond committee to harden all 18 campuses, supervised
  • Increased Communities in Schools presence on all campuses
  • Utilized ESSER funds to update aging buildings and decrease different maintenance needs.
  • Implemented a Return of Investment Framework to strategically plan for budget shortfalls due to decline enrollment, loss of ESSER and Title 1 funds in 2024.


Human Capital

  • Utilized OHI data at all campuses to increase teacher retention
  • Developed campus operations teams to assess teacher needs better and address concerns to retain quality teachers
  • Utilzied TIA to reward and retain outstanding teachers and celebrate their accomplishments
  • Utilized ESSER finds to create a Teacher Excellence Framework so campuses could reward student growth and teacher leadership.
  • Right sized high school and middle school staffing models to fit within the budget.


School and Community Relations

  • Created feeder pattern liaison system to increase feeder alignment, parental involvement, and student retention
  • Created weekly feeder pattern meeting format to increase communication and collegiality within each feeder pattern
  • Created the PALS program to increase student retention through the feeder
  • Increased social medial presence at all campuses
  • Created a parent involvement model that increases parental and community involvement at all supervised campuses.

My Family

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 23 years. We are the proud parents of three children: two sons, Branson, a graduate of Texas Tech University, and Landon, a senior in high school, and a daughter, Madeline, a graduate student and student-athlete at Angelo State University.
