Amy Wheary

I am extremely hard working, reliable and loyal to my employers. I care deeply for those I serve in the workplace so it is important to me that I provide excellent results in each assignment. I am a determined, patient, fun, encouraging, grateful and faithful employee. I have enjoyed many successes in my career as an event planner and would love an opportunity that allows me to combine my God given talents in a faith based environment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Before moving to Lakeland, I volunteered for my community arts festival as the Volunteer Coordinator. I recruited local high school kids to supervise the children's art tent, adults to sit for artists when they needed a break, set up and clean up crews and food vendors. I did this when my kids were of school age. I did not work in my career during these years.

I also worked for Hyatt Hotels inc. starting in 1983. I completed the management training program and worked for the company for 13 years. In those 13 years I enjoyed being the Guest Services Manager at the Hyatt on Capitol Square in Columbus, Ohio. I was then transferred to the Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman where I was the Concierge Manager and later, the Activities/ Catering Manager. I was employed in Grand Cayman for 10 years.
