Research Experience

  • During my doctoral program at the University of Cincinnati (2021-2023), I served as lead researcher of the DNP capstone project, Correlation of Prescribed Physical Exercise Treatment and Depressive Symptom Improvement in Women Age 18-65. My role involved spearheading the investigation into the correlation between prescribed physical exercise treatment and the improvement of depressive symptoms in women aged 18-65. I took charge of designing the research methodology, overseeing data collection, and analyzing the gathered information. Additionally, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the project’s success, interpreted findings, and contributed to drawing meaningful conclusions. My responsibilities also extended to presenting the research outcomes, promoting informed discussions, and potentially influencing healthcare practices related to mental health and physical exercise interventions in the specified demographic.

Research Publications

  • In progress: Currently, I am in the final stages of preparing a manuscript for submission to reputable journals focused on Women’s Health and Wellness, as well as Psychiatric/Mental Health. This publication stems from my DNP capstone project, investigating the correlation of prescribed physical exercise treatment and depressive symptom improvement in women age 18-65. Anticipating a timely submission, I aim to contribute valuable insights to the discourse surrounding the impact of physical exercise and depression symptom improvement and its implications for women’s health and mental well-being.
