Summary

As a bilingual/ESL educator, I am a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy. Being a bilingual/ESL educator has allowed me to enter diverse classroom environments and support EB students with diverse needs. I work on the implementation of intervention strategies and carry out small group instruction to enhance EB student success. As a bilingual/ESL educator, I understand the importance of listening, speaking, reading, and writing for all emergent bilingual students. My role as a Bilingual/ESL Support Teacher has allowed me to help other bilingual educators in planning, and in helping to implement differentiated instruction. In this role, I also lead all LPACs for all EB students and facilitated all TELPAS with the teamwork assistance of the assistant principal.
