I am currently working as an SDPA where I am able to assist in keeping AAs safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. SDPA's help associates maintain the social distancing policy ,make sure associates have access to a mask and are using it properly at all times while in the building to prevent anyone from getting infected.

before I became an SDPA i was working in the RSP department where i was able to learn many different roles such as:

Stow-

• Maintained clean and organized workspaces to uphold safety standards.
• Sorted products onto shelves according to type, weight and size.
• Increased personal stowing rates by reorganizing staging areas by size and shape specifications.
• Translated to new hires who spoke Spanish

Pick-

• Exceeded goals through effective task prioritization and great work ethic.
• Willingly took on extra hours and shifts during busy periods to meet tight shipping deadlines.
• Collected products from shelves to fill orders, carefully operating equipment and maintaining accuracy.
• Removed items from shelves or storage bins and scanned tags.

Flow Team-

• Operated walkie and pallet jacks to lift or place merchandise in backroom or on sales floor.
• Maintain buffers full to make sure stowers had work at all times
• Unloaded toes from pallets unto u-boats

Robotic Arm operator-

• Trained to palletize to ship out to different facilities
• Trained to move items from tote to tote if needed
• Trained Associates
• Trained to maintain a fast pace while keeping the area clean and safe

Tote Crew-

this is a fast paced job where you are in charge of keeping each floor full of yellow totes for pickers

worked as a customer service representative for a call center where we assisted customers with their Medicaid applications.

Here, I was able to learn how to talk to customers who were upset and how to work under pressure. I was trained how to communicate with customers so that both both parties could understand exactly what the issue was and what needed to be done.
