Pre/Post/PACU Nurse Manager

  • Oversee the perioperative team who provides Pre/Post/PACU and Preadmission care to ambulatory surgical patients.
  • Efficiently coordinate, review, and update daily schedules to always ensure proper staffing in the department.
  • Perform bedside nursing care when department is short-staffed to provide support to team and alleviate unnecessary stress.

  • Revamped new employee orientation process to provide a more fluent/efficient training experience and to ensure new employees feel proficient at the end of their orientation.
  • Lead the implementation of Team STEPPS in our ambulatory surgery center, helped with the organization of sessions and training of staff and providers.
