• Applies specific strategies of applied behavioral analysis (ABA) developed by a BCBA.Work directly with the child to teach skills such as communication, play, self-care, social behavior and basic academic skills. Manage problematic behaviors using specific behavioral interventions. Records accurate data during each session (for example: frequency of a behavior, duration of a task, etc.). Use this data to help the BCBA assess the child's progress and adjust treatment if necessary. It offers personalized care, usually in individual sessions in clinics, schools, homes or community environments. It applies techniques such as positive reinforcement, desensitization, teaching by discrete trial (DTT), teaching in the natural environment (NET), among others. Collaborated with parents, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to ensure successful implementation of interventions.

Organize and maintain physical and digital patient files. Ensure that consent forms, evaluations and reports are up to date. Answer phone calls and emails. Verify insurance coverage and benefits for ABA services. Process claims and payments. Track pending payments and manage billing. Keep a record of licenses, certifications and continuing education requirements. Ensure that all employees comply with agency policies and state/federal regulations. Handle documentation related to privacy (HIPAA), child safety and professional ethics. Be aware of changes in labor regulations or ABA certification.
