  • Achievements, Automated the document approval process for night audit reports, the voiding of food and beverage checks, entertainment checks, complimentary rooms and the daily revenue reconciliation. Paper work cut by 40% due to automatization of the above-mentioned approval changes., Implemented and improved the revenue forecasting process for the Food & Beverage department by providing the team with a detailed analysis of the statistics for each meal period., Improved and implemented best practices for the monthly forecast procedures., Improved overall cost and cost control practices and procedures in the Rooms department. Rooms Division Hours Per Occupied Room (HPOR) have been decreased approximately by 22% for the last 7 years, other expenses per occupied room (CPOR) decreased by 21.8% in FY2019 vs FY2016., Adjusted daily rooms pricing strategy regularly and established strict controls over the daily rate protocols in order to minimize the negative impact of a highly unfavorable taxation policy applied to all discounted room rates. The new procedures contributed to significant saving of 97% in taxes paid on discounted rooms., Implemented an online purchase requests format which generates cost savings in both materials and timing as well as an improvement in overall administration and task management., Created an interface between Micros and Fiscal Checks (Tax checks) as per local law requirements so that the detail of all food and beverage items were included on the Fiscal Checks. The creation of the interface was especially challenging as the local program was not compatible with the hotel’s systems
  • Responsibilities as 1st Assistant General Manager, Ensure the Hotel’s compliance with operational standards, life and safety regulations, as well as Hyatt’s policies and procedures, including internal controls., Lead the Rooms Division’s meetings on a daily basis with the heads of the Front Desk, Housekeeping and Laundry Departments, as well as with representatives from the Food and Beverage and Sales and Marketing teams. During the daily meetings, the hotel’s room pricing strategy is discussed and adjusted, as appropriate, in order to achieve the best possible financial results. Additionally, the guest arrival and departure lists are reviewed in detail, with a focus on special requests made by the in-house guests. Lastly, customers’ feedback is reviewed and areas of concern are addressed and areas receiving positive feedback are identified so that the hotel can continue providing high levels of service., Lead morning meetings with the heads of departments during the absence of the General Manager as well as lead a separate daily meeting with the Human Resources Manager., Undertake daily hotel tours to check on the conditions of the hotel’s assets as well as our employees’ grooming standards and behavior., Prepare Owner reports in Russian on a monthly basis. Maintain a strong working relationship with the Owning Company and all its representatives.
  • Achievements, Lead the hotel team and created an atmosphere of mutual respect and unwavering support, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic and periods of turbulence in Armenia., Throughout the difficult periods, the financial results of the hotel’s operations were never neglected and, in fact, the hotel managed to achieve cost savings across the hotel’s various departments., Obtained GBAC STAR accreditation which was a significant change that required a lot of administrative and organizational work during a very short period of time. This accreditation relates to the hotel establishing and maintaining a cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention program to minimize risks associated with infectious agents., Successful audits of COVID-19 operational standards performed by Hyatt as well as the local government.
