Monitored approximately 38 to 40 patients' heart rhythms and functions through cardiac monitoring strips. Collaborated with healthcare team to maintain quality patient care. Interpreted tests and identified arrhythmias and heart abnormalities on patient's EKG and reported to cardiologist. Monitored and documented heart rhythms according to physicians' orders. Followed all protocols to respond to irregular cardiac activity. Observed and evaluated cardiac activity and reported changes to medical staff.

As a Medical Scribe, I was responsible for documenting physician-patient encounters in real-time. My job involved shadowing physicians, listening carefully, transcribing notes into the electronic medical record, keeping up-to-date patients charts. I have developed strong communication, ability to multitask and prioritize assignments. I have a deep understanding of medical terminology and the ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced medical setting. I Used Meditec to input information into computerized patient record system.

Deliver compassionate and empathetic treatment to 15+ patients per day, analyze lab tests and blood work to identify abnormalities, monitor blood pressure, and prescribe medication to treat chronic and non-life threatening illnesses.
