Invited back as an Internship Ambassador as a result of being one of the highest-performing interns during the spring internship program.

Responsibilities include:

• Publicizing the internship program and recruiting 3 people to apply.
• Mentoring incoming interns through recording educational videos, holding weekly meetings, and answer questions about internship duties.
• Hosting at least 1 showcase session at the end of the internship.

Editor: Revise all publications for grammatical errors and clarity.

Ambassador: Encourage STEM subjects in my community and empower students in STEM.

First Volunteer in the Radiology Department.

Responsibilities included:

• Checking-in patients
• Reviewing patient forms
• Communicating and collaborating with the radiology team
• Answering phone calls
• Other administrative duties

• American Red Cross CPR/AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Certified.
• Supervised indoor and outdoor pool to ensure patron safety.
• Attentively monitored swimmers to identify distress.
• Administered swim tests and assisted with swim lessons.
• Completed daily pool maintenance duties by checking chlorine levels, pH levels and other water chemistry.

Accepted to participate in an internship with Scleroderma United, an international non-profit organization that seeks to raise awareness about this rare disease and advocate for individuals affected by it.

• Participated in the qualitative research project. The project consisted of qualitative coding, literary analysis, and demographic analysis of existing Scleroderma Stories publications in order to pull out existing patterns and themes within the scleroderma patient experience.
• Assisted in creating a Scleroderma codebook with fellow interns, developed a patient advocate portfolio (which included reading interviews, examining and conducting research on broader healthcare issues, and summarizing and reflecting on Scleroderma topics).
• Hosted numerous fundraising and awareness events in community, created and printed flyers, and
• Wrote a research article about Scleroderma that has been published online.

Elected as Bridgeway Academy's Club President.
