  • As the current program manager for the COPPER CAP (COP) program, manage 550+ interns by responding to questions from the field regarding COP promotions, outplacements, Tuition Assistance (TA), and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). Also, regularly process COP packages and assist base points of contacts (POCs) with COP package submissions. Discuss potential 'Raise the Bar' candidates with teammates to ensure candidates meet the qualifications of the program and meet the needs of the unit. Participate in bi-weekly COP meetings provided by the Palace Acquire (PAQ)/COP program manager to receive program updates and provide feedback on COP program. Enthusiastically, work with teammates on in-person and virtual recruiting events to convey COP program information, track interested candidates, and follow up with interested candidates.
  • In FY23, collaborated with teammates on COP Leadership Symposium to provide ideas on location, theme, guest speakers, social events, and welcome packet. Curated welcome packet to include detailed agenda, lodging and transportation details, nearby restaurants and points of interests, professional summaries of guest speakers and panelists, and yearbook of graduating COP interns. Currently spearheading planning efforts for the FY24 COP Leadership Symposium by assigning tasks to team members, establishing budget, location, theme, and leadership course for graduating COPs.
  • As the current program manager of the Central Salary Account (CSA), send out regular reminders to base POCs for upcoming graduating COPs. Ensure base POCs identify permanent positions and submit request for personnel actions. Also, provide monthly briefings to leadership on status for current outplacements.
  • As primary program manager for the Premier College Intern Program (PCIP) in FY23, worked with Premier College Interns to ensure they successfully onboarded, had a dynamic experience learning all aspects of contract management, and prepared them to transition to a full-time COP upon their completion of their internship. Also worked closely with Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) Force Renewal Program Managers, PCIP supervisors and unit liaisons to ensure that the program was successful by providing program updates and just-in-time training. Finally, mentored and trained new team member to ensure a smooth transition of program managers.
  • In preparation of the FY23 PCIP Symposium, relayed detailed guidance from AFPC Force Renewal Program Managers to interns and their assigned supervisors to prepare their travel details to the symposiums. Provided Defense Travel System (DTS) instructions and support to supervisors to overcome travel issues. Also assisted AFPC Force Renewal Program Managers with setting up the venue, assembling and distributing welcome bags, checking in all traveling interns, and providing support anywhere needed over the course of the symposium. In support of the Contracting breakout sessions for the symposiums, coordinated PCIP to COP panelists for both Wright-Patterson and Hill Symposiums, authored slide presentation, coordinated with Force Renewal Program Office for meeting space layout, guest speaker, and agenda.
  • For the FY23 Sub-Development Team (Sub-DT) Meeting, assisted the Workforce Development section with vectoring and virtually met with assigned GS-12/13s to discuss their development plan, vector application, and resume. Advised applicants of career development plan, vector application, and resume. Advised applicants of career development opportunities, then prepared and briefed vector slides for the Sub-DT Meeting. As a part of the logistics team for the Sub-DT, collected landing fees, managed Sub-DT funds, created lunch menus, collected lunch orders, assisted with purchasing food and beverages for the event, and worked with the team to prepare meeting space. Also planned and executed Sub-DT social by researching venues, analyzing menu costs, creating the social invitation, and coordinating details with the venue.
  • In FY23, volunteered to participate in the Compass working group. Also took the opportunity to become a DTS reviewer and assist in processing DTS orders. In the Compass working group, reviewed the current structure, survey data, and curriculum. After review of the Compass class material, formulated ideas on how to make the class more effective and impactful for incoming personnel. In FY24, currently serving on the PAQ/COP guide working group, Contracting Career Field Team Outplacement Continuous Improvement Process group, and the PCIP Team Challenge working group.

  • Administering Contracting Officer on Space Test Short Course valued at $3,381,039.00. The primary goal of this program is to develop a disciplined test mindset relevant to current and future space test, provide an appropriate toolset, and expose the students to current, relevant space test projects and methods. This program will leverage the test foundations and mission systems academic material that already exists at US Air Force Test Pilot School.
  • Lead Contracting Officer on $24.8M acquisition for Space Test Curriculum Development and Education (STCDE). The course builds on current Test Pilot School flight test curricula and incorporates test foundational elements, test concepts related to pertinent mission systems, and address the space sciences. The course will include academic lectures, hands-on practical exercises, seminars on relevant space test issues, and field trips as necessary to expose the students to different space test capabilities. This project will build out faculty in space-specific educational positions, as well as space-oriented expertise within the existing Test Pilot School divisions.
  • Currently managing End of Year (EOY) requirements by providing mission partners and new 1102s with training, support, and advice in developing complete packages, market research, independent Government estimates, and other required documentation ensuring they are able to procure the required supplies and services with minimal to no issues during the acquisition process.

The Facility is a full service dining facility to include carryout service and also provides boxed meals for passengers and crews in support of flying missions on a 24-hour basis and to customers requesting them in support of ground operations.
  • Administering Contracting Officer on Military Flight valued at $4,391,916.00 which provides customer-oriented personnel services to the workforce of the Air Force Test Center, its Associates and Geographically Separated Units (GSUS), Provided training to CORS and PMs as they rotate in and out of flight to maintain proper surveillance on contract.
  • Administering Contracting Officer on Wireless Systems Maintenance Service valued at $1,204,697.80 which provides customer oriented communications services for EAFB, Air Force Plant 42 and the Air Force Research Laboratory. Ensures task orders are issued with no break in service. Addresses any contractual issues and provides guidance on any proposed changes.
  • In FY21 as a buyer, executed 9 contract actions, totaling $22,997.66; As a Contracting Officer, executed 42 contract actions, totaling $627,532.84 and equating to 6% of the total obligated dollars within PZIOA.
  • In support of multiple Mission Partners, was part of a team that executed numerous bilateral modifications authorizing contractors to obtain the COVID-19 Vaccine from the DoD. The modifications were executed in a significantly decreased time frame resulting in the continued Mission Readiness required for and in support of National Security.
  • Met with the Medical Group weekly in order to establish maximum communication with the Mission Partner. Demonstrated a desire to develop and nurture strong relationships with Contracting and the Mission Partners. This is especially important due to Med Group having a completely new team working their acquisitions and in the role of a COR. Additionally, was able to circumvent breaks in contracts through discussion and status checks of needed Purchase Requests.
  • Provided section training on AFWAY and QEB purchases to ensure that coworkers fully understood the process which directly contributed to the increased ability of executing these types of actions at EOY. As a direct result of the training one coworker was able to execute numerous QEB buys within 12 hours of receiving the requirements.
  • Continued to provide one-on-one training to both junior coworkers and Mission Partners. Training efforts increased knowledge within Contracting and the Test Wing displaying dedication to increase teamwork and team building between Contracting and Mission Partners, while decreasing overall acquisition lead times.
  • After attending a limited-seating training, created and provided training on the topics covered to those coworkers who were unable to attend. This included 2 Contracting Officers and 5 Contract Specialists. This training resulted in an increased understanding of contracting, the importance of a robust PWS/SOW & QASP, as well as how monitoring contracting performance through quality assurance ensures the Government obtains the services paid for and the warfighter has the ability to continue advancing their mission.
