Ananya Singh

I am professionally motivated. I am currently working as Content Intern with Kitsa Inc, a technology solution provider for clinical trials and Assistant Dance instructor at Masti Dance Academy.

I have consistently been a self driven individual. I did independent research on emotional journey of cancer patients, I am co-authoring book on diary of stem cell transplant, I have raised $2,151 for Leukemia and Lymphoma society and I founded cancer awareness club.

I am passionate about learning the next frontiers in medical solutions. I took course on Clinical Trials from Georgetown university and Genome Engineering from Rice University.

I want to build innovative, creative and affordable medical devices. During my mother's cancer treatment, I was exposed to innovative medical equipment. I realized that I am most interested in the technology that makes treatment work.

I look forward to studying biomedical engineering major at UT Austin, living it's purpose to transform lives for the benefit for society.

• STEAM ambassador, Ambassador for the school's STEAM center where I help promote STEAM classes and organize events such as fall festivals and summer girl's camp for girls in elementary school, part of graphic designing team for an app made for the STEAM center

• Science club - Officer position as Director of Communications, Handles communication aspect of the club, social media manager for posting about the club, reminder app for club meetings, notifications.

• Key club - Officer position as SPC (Service Project Committee), Form service projects, lead service meetings, come up with volunteering service ideas and planning projects.

• Dream Dresses nonprofit - social media and news media team, Make posts to spread awareness about our non-profit where we donate dresses to people in India

• Cancer Awareness Club - President and Founder, A club to help spread awareness about different forms of cancer
