Work to understand how genetic and phenotypic diversity shapes the assembly and function of host-associated microbes. We are particularly interested in these curiosities through the lens of drugs/xenobiotics, dietary perturbation, and infectious diseases.

• Prepared samples for analysis by performing complex sample preparation tasks, such as DNA extraction, Library Preparation, and Sequencing
• Developed comprehensive reports on research progress, keeping collaborators informed and engaged.
• Currently working on a project in collaboration with an Ethiopian Lab to analyze gut and oral microbiome differences in oral/esophageal cancer patients compared to healthy cohorts.

Investigated transmissibility of different viruses through mosquito's. This included Dengue, Jamestown Canyon Virus, and others, using various lab techniques. Very familiar with extracting RNA samples and analyzing viral data for different studies.
