• Job Title Normalization: An in-course project to explore the use of Job title normalization in the healthcare industry. A public dataset of all healthcare related jobs was taken. All the resume text was pre-processed to remove unnecessary characters and normalize the titles. This dataset was trained on random forests, LSTM and CNN to find the best results.
• The Future of Feelings: Leveraging Bi-LSTM, BERT with Attention, and Palm V2 & Gemini Pro, 12/2023, A research paper which explores the field of emotion detection from text. It is an in-depth analysis in using different models to check their performance in detecting emotion. The model proposed uses Bi-LSTM and BERT for static emotion classification. Presented at SoutheastCon 2024.
• Vis-Co: A comparative study for Intelligent Dashboard Visualization: This is in-progress research which involves comparing the performance of a trained Llama model, Power Bi and a manual approach in generating visualizations for a fixed set of queries. A visualization table was created based on multiple references to present the use case of each type of chart which was the foundation for the manual approach. Will be converted to a publishable research paper.
