  • Supervise up to 17 FTEs including 5 Lieutenants, 1 Safety Specialist III, 5 Sergeants, and 6 Correctional Officers in 2 distinct multi-security level facilities which house up to 570 male and 776 female offenders in addition to processing all intake offenders to the department
  • Direct oversight as well as second level supervision of Staff Training Department, Offender Hearings Department, Life Safety, Lockshop, Facility Tool Control, Armory, and Medical Transport Unit
  • Delegation to subordinate staff, FTE payroll, performance plan development, and performance review functions in coordination with positive performance documentation and progressive discipline as warranted
  • Provide professional and technical guidance to the ASU Manager, Associate Wardens, and Warden to ensure the Denver Complex is in compliance with CDOC policies and State statutes

  • Review and track all PREA Response Plans and submit to PREA Administrator, averaging 4 per week
  • Represent the PREA Compliance Manager in weekly multidisciplinary staffing reviews according to AR 700-14, Practices Concerning Transgender Offenders
  • Coordinate with the AIC for all ADA accommodation requests for both offenders and visitors
