Dynamic Cardiac Intensive Care Registered Nurse with extensive experience at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. Expert in hemodynamics monitoring and advanced life support, I excel in critical thinking and teamwork, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Recognized for compassionate end-of-life care and effective patient education, I thrive in high-pressure environments, delivering exceptional care to diverse populations.
This role involved more of a diverse population of patients than the cardiac ICU. Med-Surg ICU, took in more generalized acute and chronic issues such as respiratory distress, end-stage liver disease, mental health crisis and addiction, unstable diabetics, post-cardiac arrest recovery, end-stage ulcerative colitis and diverticulitis, cancers of all sorts, infectious diseases (especially COVID), chronic wounds, GI bleeding. We would receive patients back from surgeries related to wounds and gastrointestinal system.
