Student Nurse- Mother/ Baby Clincal Rotation| October 2024- December 2024

• Completed 72 hours on the Obstetrics unit gaining hands on experience with OB/GYN and pediatric care.
• Assisted with prenatal and postnatal care to mothers, conducted newborn assessments, and provided family education and support.
• Supported physicians and nurses with routine exams, labor and deliveries vaginal as well as cesarian.
• Shadowed staff of District Health Department #4 for exposure to public health nursing

MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas|Tawas City, MI

Student Nurse| OB/GYN Job Shadow| June 2024- August 2024

• Completed 26 hours of shadowing with a Registered Nurse on the Obstetrics unit
• Lots of observing rather than hands on experience, witnessed a cesarian birth, several medication administrations, shift assessments, newborn assessments, fundal checks, NSTs, and ultrasounds

Student Nurse| Psychiatric Clinical Rotation| April 2024- May 2024

• Completed 67 hours of observational patient care at four locations around the Oscoda area including; Autism Centers, Medilodge of Tawas, North Shores Center and Ausable Valley of West Branch. Patient load consisting of mostly geriatric dementia patients and children with autism spectrum disorder.
