• Serve as a clinician and delegated Sub-Investigator on clinical trials involving cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's Disease, Lewy Body Dementia, and others neurodegenerative diseases.
• Conduct protocol-required medical histories, medication reviews, comprehensive physical examinations, and detailed neurologic examinations at screening and follow-up visits.
• Evaluate inclusion and exclusion criteria through clinical assessment and review of medical records, laboratory results, and other study-specific data; discuss eligibility with the Principal Investigator and study team.
• Assess new symptoms, abnormal findings, and changes in health status; determine clinical significance, severity, causality, and appropriate follow-up for adverse events and serious adverse events in accordance with protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor participant safety throughout study participation, including review of vital signs, laboratory trends, concomitant medications, diagnostic testing, and treatment-emergent findings.
• Provide clinical oversight during study visits and collaborate with research coordinators to ensure protocol adherence, timely completion of study procedures, and accurate source documentation.
• Communicate clinically relevant findings and safety concerns to the Principal Investigator, sponsor medical monitors,and multidisciplinary team members; respond to sponsor and monitor queries as delegated.
• Maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice, institutional policies, IRB-approved protocol, and applicable federal regulations governing human-subject research.
