Summary
As an educator, both in the classroom and the school library, I have always strived to help children become life long learners, lovers of reading, and critical thinkers. In my position as the school librarian, I was able to compliment classroom curriculum in my library classes and collaborate with colleagues and administrators. I was an active member of building curriculum and technology committees. My sense of humor, ability to problem solve, and outstanding organizational skills helped me to create a classroom environment which encouraged all students to share their opinions and thoughts, talk about their learning, and feel safe in taking academic risks within the classroom.
