Andrea Hernandez Parra

I am a psychologist who graduated in 2017 with professional experience in Colombia and the United States. I am committed to human development and early childhood education. I have more than three years of experience in education, working with young children and elementary students. I have grown professionally from teacher assistant and bus driver to lead kindergarten teacher in the public school system of North Carolina.

I have strong skills in children’s social and emotional development, lesson planning, classroom management, and teamwork. I am a proactive and organized person with a passion for teaching. I use my background in psychology and education to support children’s learning and overall development. I always maintain a safe environment for my students and create learning strategies based on each child’s individual needs. I understand that every child is different and learns at their own pace, and I respect each student’s unique learning process.
