Secured over $800,000 in funding within two years from a diverse range of sources, including the Homeless, Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP) Council and state, city, and county agencies, foundations, and corporate grant funders.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full grant lifecycle, from research and writing to submission and post-award administration.
  • Developing persuasive content, including logic models, work plans, and budgets, and formatting proposals according to RFP and grant requirements.
  • Collaborating with accounting, program managers, and the executive director to ensure compliance with grant contracts, including the creation of reports and required documentation.

  • CA Path - Cited TPA HCA ($200,000): CalAIM, Enhanced Care Management (ECM) is a statewide Medi-Cal benefit with a population focus on adults at risk for avoidable hospital or emergency department (ED) utilization (formerly high utilizers) and adults with serious mental illness and/or Substance Use Disorder (SUD)
  • L.A Care Health Plan: Community Health Investment Fund (CHIF): ($150,000) To provide EVCHC’s lower-income, mainly obese patients (5,000 patients) access to free nutritious food, including nutritional and diabetes classes, to reduce BMI and/or LDL and improve their health and well-being
  • L.A Care Health Plan and Health Net: The LA County Field Medicine Program ($1.2 million) created funding for a new mobile medical unit and staff to service the homeless and low-income in the East Valley of San Gabriel Valley
  • HRSA-24-078 – Expanded Hours ($700,000): BHSE funding to support health centers to increase access to behavioral health services through starting or expanding mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services to address these gaps
  • HRSA-25-084 ($1 million): To increase operational hours at EVCHC, we will implement an 18-month phased approach, starting with our largest clinics for immediate impact
