I was accepted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society while in the social work program due to my character and academic excellence. I worked diligently as a social work student, and it was a privilege to be even considered into these noteworthy group of scholars.
I now have the distinct honor to serve on the Survivor Advisory Board where I am able to have support from other survivors of human trafficking. I also have the opportunity to bring awareness by educating, advocating, and impacting public policy on the behalf of those who have been impacted by not only human trafficking, but labor and familia trafficking as well.
The Survivor Advisory Council Board is a group of individuals who come together to offer awareness, education, healing, support, and resources to individual impacted by human trafficking. The board is a catalyst in empower and supporting those who seek to be advocates for those wh have experienced similar life experiences and who are now stronger and more resilient and are willing to fight the good fight for others who are currently experiencing the woes of human trafficking.
