I volunteered in both kindergarten and first-grade classrooms, where I spent time observing students and supporting them during lessons and activities. Whenever I noticed a student struggling, I would step in to help them understand the material and stay engaged. Most of my volunteer time was spent in the special education classroom, where I learned how meaningful it is to provide individualized support and see students make progress at their own pace. This experience deeply inspired me to pursue a career as a special education teacher, as I discovered my passion for helping students with diverse learning needs reach their full potential.
I assisted in a kindergarden classroom, I suported the lead teacher by preping and assisting with instructional acctivities. I provided one on one and small group support to students who were having difficulty understanding lessons, using hands on activities and clear explanations to help the students succeed.
