• Recovering open heart surgery patients directly out of the OR. Stabilized them hemodynamically, assisted with extubation & collaborated in first time ambulation post surgery. Educated families on course of recovery & expectations.

• May 1998 Started working in critical care.
• January 2000 Became charge nurse of a 16 bed mixed ICU & assumed that position on a rotational basis
• May 2017 New role as Assistant Department Manager
• Motivated staff to consistently deliver effective nursing care through coaching and recognition.

I worked in a floatpool during my first 3 years.

The last 12 months at Dameron I was assigned to a Telemetry Unit / Stepdown Unit for open heart surgery patients.
