• Currently work in the NICU since 2018. Attend deliveries and resuscitate if neccessary. C-section & Vaginal. Attend in house and out of house patient transports.
• Worked in PICU for 6 years. 2012-2018, continue to manage ECMO patients.
• Worked PRN in adult care at JHH. 2015-2017
• Manage ventilator support for critically ill patients.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans addressing patient needs and goals and advocate for patient needs.
• Serve as a resource for staff and patients on the safe use of supplemental oxygen, ensuring optimal therapeutic benefits.
• Completed continued education units annually to stay current with respiratory therapy advancements.
• Mentor new hires and students
• Promote a positive workplace culture through active participation in department meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives.

As a PRN staff member I was flexible and worked in many different areas. I managed floor patients, pediatric & newborn patients and ICU adult patients.

• Educated patients and families on proper use of respiratory equipment
• Delivered treatment for patients experiencing chronic and acute respiratory illnesses
• Monitored patient's physiological responses to therapy such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes.
